18. A device for installing a first digital certificate, the device comprising:
an interface and a computation unit configured to
send a first certificate identifier to a server, the first certificate identifier being configured to identify a certificate or group of certificates,
create an asymmetric key pair, the asymmetric key pair including a first public key and a first private key,
send the first public key to the server,
receive the first digital certificate, the first digital certificate being a first wildcard certificate generated from a first domain name and the first public key, the first public key being signed by a certificate authority, and the first domain name including the first certificate identifier, and
install the first digital certificate on the device.
