1. A system comprising:
a computing device configured to:
determine, based on a request for a content item, a first manifest file comprising one or more references to one or more second manifest files, wherein the first manifest file facilitates delivery of a first portion of the content item,
determine, based on the first manifest file, a second manifest file of the one or more second manifest files,
determine, based on the second manifest file, a second portion of the content item;
send, to a user device, the first portion of the content item and the first manifest file;
and send, to the user device, via a server push, the second manifest file and the second portion of the content item; and
the user device configured to:
receive the first portion of the content item and the first manifest file, and
receive the second manifest file and the second portion of the content item.
