1. An information processing apparatus comprising:
circuitry configured to:
acquire control information from a broadcast wave using an Internet protocol transmission system, wherein the control information includes low level signaling or service layer signaling transmitted in a layer of the Internet protocol transmission system; and
execute browser functions as a DASH player; and
a local proxy configured:
to be accessed by the DASH player;
to communicate with a server on the Internet;
to send a request including segment information of content to the server when the request is transmitted via communication with a broadcasting service as a service entry, the request includes a proxy standby address request; and
to insert identification information for identifying identity of a source of the content into the request, wherein the identification information includes at least a service identifier included in the low level signaling or the service layer signaling for identifying the broadcasting service.
