1. A system for overvoltage protection in an electric vehicle, the system comprising:
a connector including one or more conductors coupled to one or more energy storage elements;
an electric aircraft including:
one or more ports coupled to the one or more conductors of the connector;
an overvoltage protection device including:
one or more sensors configured to detect at least an output voltage of the connector to output an analog signal and a digital signal each indicating the output voltage of the connector; and
a controller communicatively connected to the one or more sensors,
wherein the controller is configured to:
determine an overvoltage output;
determine, via the digital signal and a digital comparator, whether the output voltage of the connector exceeds the overvoltage output;
determine, via the analog signal and an analog comparator, whether the output voltage of the connector exceeds the overvoltage output; and
activate the overvoltage protection device in response to one of the analog comparator and the digital comparator indicating the output voltage of the connector exceeds the overvoltage output.
