1. A shunt resistor comprising:
a rectangular first resistive body;
two rectangular base materials sandwiching the first resistive body therebetween and joined to the first resistive body by welding;
a second resistive body joined to the two base materials by welding at a position different from the first resistive body; and
the second resistive body is formed in a downward U shape in plan view, having an upper surface thereof flush with upper surfaces of the two base materials and having a lower side surface thereof joined to upper side surfaces of the two base materials by welding, thereby, the second resistive body being joined to the two base materials on adjacent positions to the first resistive body but are in a non-contact state.
