1. A method comprising:
determining eligibility of a product as a gift product available for purchase at a legacy merchant store front;
assigning an identification code to the gift product;
generating an embedded widget associated with the product;
automatically placing the embedded widget on a page of the legacy merchant store front associated with the product; and
facilitating a purchase transaction for the gift product prior to a final selection by a gift recipient by mimicking an orchestrated transaction between the gift recipient and the legacy merchant store front using the identification code for the gift product in place of an identification code for the product.
