1. A sight glass monitor apparatus, the apparatus comprising:
a support member including a front side and a back side, the support member configured to couple to a receptacle having a sight glass, wherein the support member includes a base portion having an opening extending from the front side to the back side of the support member and allowing a view of the sight glass through the front side and the back side of the support member;
a sensor having a front portion and coupled to the support member; and
a controller in operable communication with the sensor and configured to receive one or more signals from the sensor,
wherein the sensor is configured to detect a level of a material in the receptacle via the sight glass.
