1. A method of producing a corn plant with resistance to a WCR (Western Corn Rootworm) pest comprising growing said plant from a transgenic corn seed comprising:
a) a transgene encoding a dsRNA for suppression of an essential gene in the WCR pest; and
b) a transgene encoding an insecticidal protein exhibiting biological activity against said pest.
