1. An exercise apparatus, comprising:
a base;
a bottom plate secured to a top portion of the base;
a bracket affixed to the bottom plate;
a base plate secured to a top portion of the bottom plate, the base plate including a plurality of holes on a top surface of the base plate;
a foot plate secured to a top portion of the base plate and configured to selectively engage with at least one of the plurality of holes on the top surface of the base plate, such that when the foot plate is rotated the base plate and bottom plate also rotate;
a threaded hole on the base; and
a first resistance element having a first end secured to the threaded hole on the base and a second end secured to the bottom plate, such that resistance is provided from the first resistance element when the bottom plate, base plate and foot plate are rotated with respect to the base.
