1. An autoinjector comprising:
a case comprising a rear case;
a needle shroud slidably arranged in the case;
a plunger arranged within the case and configured to be released in a distal direction from the rear case by a rotation caused by a translation of the needle shroud in a proximal direction relative to the case, the plunger configured to push a stopper in a syringe containing a medicament when the plunger moves in the distal direction; and
a drive spring configured to apply a biasing force to the plunger for injection of the medicament from the syringe,
wherein the autoinjector is configured such that axial movement of the needle shroud relative to the case causes rotation of the plunger relative to the case.
