1. An antiseptic cap comprising:
a rigid housing comprising a housing bottom wall and a housing sidewall extending from the housing bottom wall at least partially surrounding an interior chamber and an opening into the interior chamber;
a non-threaded interior surface portion extending at least partially along the housing sidewall from the opening and towards the bottom wall, the non-threaded interior surface portion being compressible and being configured to directly engage and securely attach the antiseptic cap to a medical device;
an antiseptic liquid being positioned within the rigid housing; and
a seal being removably attached to an outer surface of the rigid housing and extending over the interior chamber such that the antiseptic liquid is exposed upon removal of the seal.
