1. A high voltage pulse generator comprising:
a driver circuit configured to generate driving signal pulses; and
a pulse generator stage comprising a plurality of switches connected in series, a capacitive element coupled to the plurality of switches, and a switch driver configured to generate control signal pulses for switching the plurality of switches in response to the driving signal pulses,
wherein an input port of the switch driver is coupled to an output port of the driver circuit, an output port of the switch driver is coupled to a respective switch of the plurality of switches; and
wherein the input port of the switch driver is coupled to the output port of the switch driver through a transformer.
