1. An optical image stabilization (OIS) mechanism, comprising:
a lens having a lens optical axis and an effective focal length EFL in the range of 2.5 mm to 50 mm;
an image sensor having a sensor height HS smaller than a sensor width;
a magnet;
a moving frame; and
a static frame fixedly coupled to the image sensor,
wherein the OIS mechanism allows a first movement and a second movement of the moving frame relative to the static frame,
wherein the first movement is a rotational movement of the moving frame around a rotation axis parallel to the lens optical axis,
wherein a distance between the rotation axis and the lens optical axis is marked DL-R,
wherein DL-R is in the range of ½ HS to ½ HS+10 mm,
wherein the second movement is a linear movement,
wherein the lens moves together with the moving frame for OIS,
wherein the magnet is used for actuating one of the first movement or the second movement and for sensing a position of the lens relative to the image sensor,
and wherein the OIS mechanism is included in a mobile device.
