1. A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) message including information on mapping between sounding reference signal resource indicator (SRI) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) power control identifier (ID) and PUSCH pathloss reference reference signal (RS) ID values;
receiving, from the base station, downlink control information (DCI) including an SRI;
identifying a pathloss based on the DCI; and
transmitting, to the base station, a PUSCH based on the identified pathloss,
wherein the mapping is updated by a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) received from the base station, and
wherein the MAC CE includes:
first information indicating a PUSCH pathloss reference RS ID which is to be updated in the mapping,
second information indicating an SRI PUSCH power control ID mapped to the PUSCH pathloss reference RS ID, and
third information indicating a presence of an additional SRI PUSCH power control ID mapped to the PUSCH pathloss reference RS ID.
