1. A dielectric capacitor comprising:
an electrically conductive porous scaffold forming a first electrode conformally coated with a dielectric material; and
a metal or metal alloy at least partially filling porous space within the electrically conductive porous scaffold coated with the dielectric material forming a second electrode,
wherein the metal or metal alloy has a melting temperature corresponding to the operating temperature of the dielectric capacitor to prevent overheating of the capacitor.
