1. A gaming chip, wherein a recess portion is formed in a central portion of a flat surface, the gaming chip comprising:
a first printing layer on which an authenticity recognition mark made of an infrared absorbing material is printed, and
a second printing layer, which includes an indication indicating a type of the gaming chip,
wherein the first printing layer and the second printing layer are formed within the recess portion, and
wherein the authenticity recognition mark is to be used to determine an authenticity of the gaming chip by performing infrared irradiation from a side on which the indication indicating the type of the gaming chip is printed using an infrared camera.
