1. An electrical device comprising:
a first input configured to receive first power from a first power supply;
a second input configured to receive second power from a second power supply different from the first power supply;
an output configured to provide at least one of the first power or the second power to at least one load;
a switching device configured to switchably couple at least one of the first input or the second input to the output;
a first memory configured to store data temporarily;
a second memory, the second memory being non-volatile memory; and
at least one control device configured to:
control the switching device to couple the first input to the output to provide the first power to the at least one load,
acquire data indicative of at least one parameter of the first power responsive to a sample condition being met,
store the acquired data in the first memory,
determine that a fault condition exists based on the acquired data, the fault condition being indicative of a fault of one or more electrical-device components,
store the acquired data in the second memory responsive to determining that the fault condition exists, and
control the switching device to couple the second input to the output to provide the second power to the at least one load.
