1. A production water hydrocarbon detection and control system for sand and water-based production water aqueous mixture in fluid communication with a tanker truck tank, comprising:
a controller having at least one input and at least one output;
a hydrocarbon sensor having at least one of a fluorometer, a turbidity sensor, and a color sensor in a pipe in fluid communication with the tanker truck tank and a production site production water aqueous mixture tank coupled to a first input of the controller, the hydrocarbon sensor sensing a level of presence of hydrocarbon in the aqueous mixture flowing between the tanker truck tank and the production site aqueous mixture tank and providing a signal to the controller commensurate with an amount of hydrocarbon in the aqueous mixture; and
a control device coupled to the controller output, the control device modifying flow of the aqueous mixture to stop flow of aqueous mixture between the tanker truck tank and the production site tank.
