1. A method of sealing off fluid flow comprising:
introducing a treatment fluid in a subterranean formation, wherein the treatment fluid comprises:
a cross-linkable polymer;
a cross-linking agent; and
at least one additive, wherein the additive comprises an organophilically-modified clay, wherein the organophilically-modified clay comprises tri- or tetra-(C1-C50)hydrocarbylammonium salt, and wherein each tri- or tetra-(C1-C50) hydrocarbylammonium salt is independently selected, is substituted or unsubstituted, and is interrupted by 1, 2, or 3 atoms chosen from at least of —O—, —S—, substituted or unsubstituted —NH—, or combinations thereof.
