1. A radiation-curable ink jet composition used in an ink jet printing apparatus including an ink jet head using a material with an SP value of 7.0 (J/cm3)1/2 to 8.0 (J/cm3)1/2 in a flow path, the ink jet composition comprising:
polymerizable monomers A including at least one polymerizable monomer B with an SP value of 7.0 (J/cm3)1/2 or less or 8.0 (J/cm3)1/2 or more and at least one polymerizable monomer C with an SP value of more than 7.0 (J/cm3)1/2 to less than 8.0 (J/cm3)1/2
the at least one polymerizable monomer B being in an amount of 20% by mass or more relative to the total mass of the ink jet composition,
the at least one polymerizable monomer C being in an amount of 5.0% to 22.5% by mass relative to the total mass of the ink jet composition.
