1. A system, comprising:
a controller, wherein the controller is in communication with a fluid displacement pump, a centrifugal separator purge valve, and a germicide generator;
a fluid displacement pump, wherein the fluid displacement pump extracts water from a main stream basin, prefilters the extracted water, and displaces the extracted water through a closed-circuit side stream;
a centrifugal separator, wherein the centrifugal separator includes an inlet, an outlet, a solids collection chamber, and a purge valve that releases solids collected in the collection chamber;
a germicide generator, wherein the germicide generator comprises at least one electrode fabricated from approximately 93 percent copper and approximately 7 percent silver;
a primary side stream magnetic field generator, wherein the primary side stream magnetic field generator comprises at least one permanent ceramic magnet having side-to-side polarity mounted to a non-ferrous pipe with a south pole facing inward toward water;
a continuous, real time corrosion monitoring and reporting system; and
a continuous, real time biofilm monitoring and reporting system, wherein the biofilm monitoring system measures cathodic current density on a surface of a probe continuously and in real time.
