1. An apparatus comprising: at least one memory; and
at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory, the at least one processor configured to:
associate a set of test metrics with an autonomous vehicle (AV) test, wherein the set of test metrics comprises an indication of one or more target AV behaviors to be checked when performing the AV test, and wherein the one or more target AV behaviors comprises at least one AV maneuver that is to be verified by the AV test;
monitor operation of an AV in a simulated environment to identify one or more behaviors performed by the AV in the simulated environment;
determine a validity of the AV test with respect to the simulated environment based on the set of test metrics;
determine that the AV test is invalid; and
determine if the AV test can be fixed by changing an evaluation window associated with the test.
