1. An aerosol delivery device comprising:
a cartridge at least partially defined by a housing that includes an outer wall, a mouth end, and a connecting end;
a storage portion within the housing and configured to store an aerosol precursor composition;
a channel at least partially defined interior to the outer wall and extending from the mouth end toward the connecting end of the housing, the channel being configured for passage of aerosol therethrough;
a sealing member arranged toward the storage portion within the housing and configured to allow flow of the aerosol precursor composition from the storage portion;
a heating element positioned within the housing; and
a substrate member arranged at least partially between the sealing member and the heating element, the substrate member comprising a porous ceramic material and being effective to transfer the aerosol precursor composition that flows through the sealing member toward the heating element.
