1. A method of derotation comprising:
providing a derotation system, the derotation system including:
first and second derotation towers, wherein each derotation tower comprises a proximal derotation tube coupled to a distal engagement assembly that is configured to engage an anchor member;
a clamp member configured to receive the first and second derotation towers, the clamp member having an inner surface including an engagement feature, and the engagement feature is configured to engage an outer surface of the first or second derotation tower, wherein the engagement feature is a plurality of non-deformable, non-movable concave engagement surfaces positioned on the inner surface of the clamp member, and each of the plurality of engagement surfaces is configured to engage an outer surface of the first or second derotation tower,
wherein the clamp member includes a first elongate arm coupled to a threaded rod and a nut, the clamp member further including a second elongate arm having an obliquely angled receiving portion extending therefrom, wherein the first and second elongate arms are pivotably coupled at a first end of the clamp member,
wherein when the threaded rod is received in the obliquely angled receiving portion and the nut is actuated the second elongate arm pivots toward the first elongate arm due to the obliquely angled receiving portion to clamp the first and second derotation towers; and
a handle assembly configured to engage the clamp member,
engaging the first derotation tower with a first anchor member;
engaging the second derotation tower with a second anchor member;
clamping the first and second derotation towers with the clamp member; and
applying a force to adjust a position of at least one of the first and second derotation towers.
