1. A system, comprising:
a medical device; and
an introducer sheath comprising a proximal end,
a distal end, and
an introducer sheath body forming a lumen extending between a first opening at the proximal end and a second opening at the distal end,
wherein the first opening is configured to have a first cross-sectional shape in a rest state and a second cross-sectional shape in a constrained state,
wherein the first cross-sectional shape is an oval and the second cross-sectional shape is a circle,
wherein the first opening is configured to have the second cross-sectional shape when the medical device is passed through the first opening into the lumen, and
wherein a circumference of the first cross-sectional shape is the same as a circumference of the second cross-sectional shape.
