1. A device, comprising:
a shaft;
a distal tip including an interior sidewall and a first channel positioned on the interior sidewall; and
an elevator including an exterior sidewall, a proximal portion that is fixed relative to the interior sidewall, a distal portion that is movable relative to the proximal portion, and a second channel positioned on the exterior sidewall;
wherein, when the elevator moves to a first position, the first channel and the second channel are each configured to receive a portion of a control wire, and when the elevator moves to a second position the control wire is configured to move out of the first channel and remain inside the second channel;
wherein the proximal portion bends relative to the distal portion when the elevator moves from the first position to the second position,
wherein the distal tip includes a distally-facing surface defining a first control wire opening and a second control wire opening, wherein a first portion of the control wire extends from the first control wire opening, wherein a second portion of the control wire extends from the second control wire opening, and wherein a third portion of the control wire extends between the first portion and the second portion at the distal portion of the elevator.
