1. A method for random access, comprising:
respectively configuring, in frequency domain, an initial transmission resource pool and a re-transmission resource pool of a physical random access channel (PRACH), wherein frequency-domain resources in the initial transmission resource pool are used for initial transmission of a random access preamble, frequency-domain resources in the re-transmission resource pool are used for re-transmission of the random access preamble, and initial transmission frequency-domain resources in the initial transmission resource pool and re-transmission frequency-domain resources in the re-transmission resource pool have a one-to-one mapping relationship;
sending random access configuration information, wherein the random access configuration information comprises resource configuration information for the initial transmission resource pool and resource configuration information for the re-transmission resource pool;
receiving the random access preamble; and
determining whether the received random access preamble is an initially transmitted or re-transmitted random access preamble according to a transmission frequency-domain resource of the received random access preamble with reference to the random access configuration information.
