1. One or more processors configured to perform operations comprising:
reporting, to a base station, a reduced physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring capability for at least one group of search space sets (SSS) of a PDCCH;
receiving, from the base station, a reduced monitoring capability (MO) configuration, wherein the base station determines the reduced MO configuration based on the reported reduced PDCCH monitoring capability, wherein receiving the reduced monitoring capability (MO) configuration includes receiving first and second monitoring profiles, the first monitoring profile relating to a higher power consumption and the second monitoring profile relating to a lower power consumption, wherein the second monitoring profile includes at least one of (i) a reduced number of blind decodes per slot relative to a reference number of blind decodes (ii) an increased periodicity of PDCCH monitoring, (iii) an MO window configuration for reduced PDCCH monitoring or (iv) a reduced number, relative to the first monitoring profile of different downlink control information (DCI) format sizes to monitor; and
monitoring the PDCCH based on the reduced MO configuration.
