1. A method for establishing Network-Based Media Processing (NBMP) workflow through a 5G Framework for Live Uplink Streaming (FLUS) control, executable by a processor, comprising:
discovering, by an NBMP source in a first device transmitting a first request to a FLUS source during a first stage of an NBMP workflow, a FLUS sink in a second device;
discovering, by the NBMP source transmitting a second request to the FLUS source during a second stage of the NBMP workflow, a capability of the FLUS sink;
creating, by the NBMP source during a third stage of the NBMP workflow, the NBMP workflow between the FLUS source and the FLUS sink; and
tunneling information between the NBMP source and an NBMP workflow manager through a control interface for the FLUS source and the FLUS sink, to manage the NBMP workflow,
wherein the control interface comprises; (i) a control source of the PLUS source that communicates with a control sink of the FLUS sink, and (ii) a media source of the FLUS source that communication with a media sink of the FLUS sink.
