1. A protective device for electrical conduit systems, comprising:
a body having a lower opening for engaging with a first conduit and a central cavity for receiving conductors extending from the first conduit to a second conduit;
a top member having an upper opening for engaging with the second conduit; and
a coupler slidably engaged around said body and having a proximal end and a distal end, said coupler slidable between an open position, in which the distal end of said coupler is adjacent to said body and spaced apart from said top member, and a closed position in which the distal end of said coupler is attached to said top member.
