1. A radiation protection device configured to be worn by a user, the radiation protection device comprising:
a wearable portion; and
radiation attenuating material configured to provide greater radiation attenuation at a first area than at a second area,
wherein, when worn by the user, the first area is proximate a radiation sensitive organ of the user and the second area is proximate an area of the user less sensitive to radiation.
