1. An in-vehicle control system comprising:
a processor; and
a computer-readable memory in communication with the processor and having stored thereon computer-executable instructions to cause the processor to:
receive an image,
identify a vehicle and a lane marker in the image,
determine a bounding box for the vehicle within the image,
determine a left and/or right side of the vehicle,
reduce a size of the bounding box based on the left and/or the right side of the vehicle, and
determine a distance between the vehicle and the lane marker using the bounding box with the reduced size.
