1. A system for identifying emerging viewing patterns for viewed visual media, the system comprising:
a visual tag engine configured to identify visual tags for each of a plurality of visual media viewed by users;
a candidate generator configured to generate pattern candidates from the identified visual tags, each of the pattern candidates including two or more of the identified visual tags; and
a metric evaluation engine configured to evaluate consumption metrics of the viewed visual media by the users for each of the generated pattern candidates and to identify emerging viewing patterns for the users responsive to the evaluated consumption metrics;
wherein the system is configured to schedule new visual media to serve the users based on the identified emerging viewing patterns.
