1. A non-transitory machine-readable medium storing executable instructions which when executed by a data processing system cause the data processing system to perform a method comprising:
determining a switching window at an output of a victim cell in a design of a circuit, wherein a signal at the output switches during the switching window;
determining an energy loss at one or more power supply rails of the victim cell during the switching window due to aggressors in the design, wherein the energy loss for the victim cell is represented according to a geometric shape associated with a simulated voltage curve for the victim cell; and
computing a timing analysis at the output of the victim cell based on a representation of the energy loss for the victim cell.
