1. A system for improving reliability of a data storage system, comprising:
an interface;
a compression circuit configured to generate sequentially compressed data by compressing received data received via the interface; and
a decompression circuit configured to confirm data consistency by decompressing the sequentially compressed data before storing the sequentially compressed data in a storage drive, wherein
the compression circuit sequentially executes a compression task on the received data to generate the sequentially compressed data, sequentially generates packets of the sequentially compressed data, and transfers the packets to the decompression circuit, and
the decompression circuit sequentially receives the packets and starts a decompression task on the packets before all the packets derived from the received data are sequentially generated by the compression circuit.
