1. A method, comprising:
determining, by a microscope, whether an area of interest is present in one or more portions of a field of view of the microscope; and
adjusting, by the microscope and based on determining whether the area of interest is present in the one or more portions of the field of view, a focus of the field of view at a focus speed associated with an input or at a modified focus speed,
wherein the focus speed or the modified focus speed is determined based on a size of an optical fiber associated with the field of view.
