1. A building management system (BMS) for providing network traffic, the system comprising:
a device providing a control application for the BMS; and
a zone controller comprising a processing circuit configured to:
receive a request from the control application;
manage network traffic in responding to the request by:
gathering, at the zone controller, a plurality of responses from one or more data objects, wherein the plurality of responses include a set of data object properties to satisfy the request;
performing, at the zone controller, a conversion process that converts the plurality of responses into a converted number of responses requested in the request in response to a number of the plurality of responses, wherein the converted number of responses comprises the set of data object properties; and
providing, to the control application via the network traffic, the converted number of responses to the control application to satisfy the request such that the control application receives the converted number of responses without requiring the control application to receive the plurality of responses from the one or more data objects.
