1. A method of using a system, the system comprising:
a subterranean wellbore having a casing installed therein; and
a perforating gun, comprising:
an elongate sleeve having a helical groove formed in its outer surface;
an elongate charge housing installed within the sleeve;
at least one sensor installed within the charge housing; and
a plurality of explosive charges installed within the charge housing, the plurality of explosive charges comprising at least one outward facing explosive charge and an uphole facing explosive charge;
in which the perforating gun is positioned within the casing and is not attached to a wireline; and
in which the plurality of explosive charges are in an unexploded state;
the method, comprising:
detonating the at least one outward facing explosive charge; and
thereafter, detonating the uphole facing explosive charge;
in which the at least one outward facing explosive charge, when detonated,
perforates the casing; and in which the uphole facing explosive charge,
when detonated, fragments the sleeve and the charge housing into a plurality of pieces.
