1. An aerial vehicle comprising:
a housing;
a chassis connected to the housing and configured to provide a cavity;
a battery configured to mechanically couple to the chassis via the cavity;
a pull-bar connected to the battery and movable relative to the battery between a closed position and an open position, wherein the pull-bar in the closed position locks the battery within the housing, wherein when the pull-bar is moved to the open position the pull-bar unlocks the battery, and wherein the pull-bar assists in removing the battery from the chassis;
a locking mechanism comprising a locking spring which locks the battery to the chassis, wherein the locking spring prevents the battery from being removed when the pull-bar is compressed into the closed position; and
a protruding element on the locking spring that is adjacent to a tab of the battery to prevent the battery from being removed when the pull-bar is compressed into the closed position.
