1. A client computing device used by a technician to provide roadside assistance to a vehicle having an autonomous driving mode and a manual driving mode, the client computing device comprising: a display device configured to present an option that enables the technician to remotely control the vehicle in order to resolve an issue that caused the vehicle to require the roadside assistance; and one or more processors coupled with the display device, the one or more processors configured to: receive user input corresponding to selection of the option by the technician; and send a signal corresponding to the user input to one or more server computing devices to cause the vehicle to enter a state which enables the technician to remotely disengage the autonomous driving mode or switch the autonomous driving mode to the manual driving mode.
