1. A side rail fastener configured to secure a tonneau cover to a side rail, the side rail fastener comprising:
a substrate;
a plurality of dual hooks supported on the substrate and comprising:
i) a plurality of first dual hooks each having a first base extending upwardly from the substrate, and a front first hook and a rear first hook, both of which extend upwardly from the first base and point in a first direction, wherein a first trench is defined between the front first hook, the rear first hook, and a top edge of the first base, the top edge of the first base is spaced upwardly from the substrate; and
ii) a plurality of second dual hooks each having a second base extending upwardly from the substrate, and a front second hook and a rear second hook, both of which are located on the second base and point in an opposing second direction;
wherein the plurality of first dual hooks are arranged in rows that extend along a length of the substrate and the plurality of second dual hooks are arranged in rows that extend along the length of the substrate, and the rows of the plurality of first dual hooks and the rows of the plurality of second dual hooks alternate along a width of the base so that either at least a portion of the front second hook or at least a portion of the rear second hook is at least partially aligned with the first trench in a transverse direction to the length of the substrate.
