1. A golf club head, comprising:
a parting line joining a first part, forming a forward portion of the golf club head, and a second part, forming a rearward portion of the golf club head,
a crown;
a sole;
a strikeface;
an interior surface of the golf club head including a first interior surface defined by the first part and a second interior surface defined by the second part;
a top portion of the parting line extends across the crown and consists entirely of a curve that forms a concave top edge relative to the strikeface on the first part and consists entirely of a convex top edge relative to the strikeface on the second part;
a shape curvature of the interior surface; and
a bottom portion of the parting line having a sinusoidal shape;
wherein;
the parting line is along the crown and the sole of the golf club head;
wherein the shape curvature of the interior surface defines inflection points at which a slope of the interior surface changes from a positive to a negative;
the parting line is selected to lie along a continuous line formed by the inflection points; and
the parting line is irregular;
the first part including:
a first side wall extending around the golf club head;
wherein the first side wall includes a first interior surface that extends at a first edge that defines an open side of the first part;
wherein the first part defines a first series of parallel cross sectional planes at locations along the first part in which the first interior surface defines an uninterrupted interior perimeter surface; and
wherein, for any first individual plane of the first series of parallel cross sectional planes:
an area defined within the first interior surface for said first individual plane is equal to or less than an area defined within the first interior surface for any plane of the first series of parallel cross sectional planes located closer to the first edge than the said first individual plane; and
the second part including:
a second side wall extending around the golf club head;
wherein the second side wall includes the second interior surface that ends at a second edge that defines an open side of the second part;
wherein the second part defines a second series of parallel cross sectional planes at locations along the second part in which the second interior surface defines an uninterrupted interior perimeter surface;
wherein, for any second individual plane of the second series of parallel cross sectional planes:
an area defined within the second interior surface for said second individual plane is equal to or less than an area defined within the second interior surface for any plane of the second series of parallel cross sectional planes located closer to the second edge than said second individual plane.
