1. A method for treating a seizure caused by a brain tumor, the method comprising the steps:
(a) selecting a subject in need of treatment, wherein the subject has been diagnosed with a brain tumor; and
(b) administering a therapeutic composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a platelet-activating factor (PAF) receptor antagonist and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier,
