1. An electronic device comprising:
a housing including a first side, a second side, a third side, and a fourth side, wherein the first side is slidable;
a variable display coupled to the housing to at least partially surround the first side, and having a changeable display area based on a slide amount of the first side;
a sensor configured to detect a position of the first side; and
a processor electrically connected to the variable display and the sensor;
wherein the processor is configured to:
display a soft key on a part of a first display area corresponding to a first position of the first side, and
change display coordinates of the soft key into a second display area corresponding to a second position of the first side, based on the first position of the first side being changed into the second position corresponding to a movement of the first side.
