1. A system comprising: a plurality of instances of a component, wherein each instance is operable in a plurality of modes; a control circuit coupled to the plurality of instances of the component, wherein the control circuit comprises a table of power supply voltage magnitude and frequency settings that are permissible for the plurality of instances of the component, and wherein each entry of the table further includes one or more voltage magnitude reductions that are permissible based on the plurality of modes of the plurality of instances of the component, and wherein the control circuit is configured to determine a reduced power supply voltage magnitude based on: the power supply voltage magnitude and the one or more voltage magnitude reductions from a currently selected entry of the table; and a combination of the plurality of modes of the plurality of instances of the component.
