1. A thermal sorption system comprising:
a sorber configured to at least one of absorb a sorber gas on solid complex compounds or desorb the sorber gas from the solid complex compounds;
a thermal system configured to be in thermal communication with the solid complex compounds;
an evaporator configured to be in thermal communication with a thermal load;
a condenser;
a compressor in fluid communication with the sorber, the evaporator, and the condenser, wherein the compressor is configured to compress the sorber gas to provide a pressure of the sorber gas within the sorber;
one or more sensors configured to sample at least one of a temperature within the thermal sorption system or a pressure within the thermal sorption system; and
a control system configured to:
receive data indicative of the at least one of the temperature sampled by the one or more sensors or the pressure sampled by the one or more sensors, and
in response to receiving the indicative data, operate the compressor to at least one of increase or decrease the pressure of the sorber gas within the sorber to control at least one of a rate of the absorption of the sorber gas onto the solid complex compound or a rate of the desorption of the sorber gas from the solid complex compound,
wherein the thermal sorption system is configured to transfer thermal energy from the thermal load at a rate dependent on the at least one of the rate of absorption or the rate of desorption.
