1. A user equipment (UE), comprising:
a higher layer processor configured to
determine an ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing starting symbol on an enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), and
determine a resource element (RE) mapping for a URLLC UCI multiplexing on the eMBB PUSCH from the UCI multiplexing starting symbol; and
transmitting circuitry configured to perform multiplexing of the URLLC UCI on the eMBB PUSCH based on the RE mapping, wherein:
the transmitting circuitry is further configured to perform a first multiplexing in which, for UCI multiplexing of a URLLC Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) with less than or equal to 2 bits on the eMBB PUSCH, a HARQ-ACK up to 2 bits is multiplexed on the eMBB PUSCH by puncturing the eMBB PUSCH from the determined UCI multiplexing starting symbol,
the transmitting circuitry is further configured to perform a second multiplexing in which, for UCI multiplexing of the URLLC HARQ-ACK with less than or equal to 2 bits on the eMBB PUSCH, the HARQ-ACK up to 2 bits is multiplexed with a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) sequence at a resource block (RB) level from the determined UCI multiplexing starting symbol, and
the higher layer processor is further configured to determine the first multiplexing or the second multiplexing based on a distance between a HARQ-ACK multiplexing starting symbol and a corresponding demodulation reference symbol (DMRS).
