1. A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
performing a random access procedure with a base station on a supplementary uplink (SUL) frequency band;
performing both a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission and a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission on the SUL frequency band;
identifying whether information on a PUSCH configuration for an uplink (UL) frequency band is configured for the terminal; and
in case that the information on the PUSCH configuration for the UL frequency band is configured for the terminal, switching the PUSCH transmission to the UL frequency band while the PUCCH transmission is continued on the SUL frequency band.
