1. A wireless computing device comprising:
an antenna; and
a processor in communication with the antenna, wherein computer-executable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the wireless computing device to:
authenticate with one or more access points;
decode a first portion of a first packet transmitted by a first access point in the one or more access points, wherein an active set for the wireless computing device identifies the first access point as serving the wireless computing device;
determine that a destination address included in the first portion of the first packet matches an address of the wireless computing device;
process the first packet in response to the determination that the destination address included in the first portion of the first packet matches the address of the wireless computing device, irrespective of a source address included in the first portion of the first packet; and
decode a first portion of a second packet transmitted by a second access point in the one or more access points, wherein the active set is updated to identify the second access point as serving the wireless computing device in response to transmission of the second packet.
