1. An apparatus, comprising:
at least one processor; and
at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and computer program code being configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the apparatus to perform:
receiving a first message, the first message comprising reference signal resource information for measuring channel state information; and
when operating the apparatus in a first radio resource control mode, measuring channel state information based on a reference signal of the channel state information,
wherein the at least one memory and computer program code are further configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the apparatus to, when operating the apparatus in a first radio resource control mode, measure channel state information based on a reference signal of the channel state information is further for controlling the measuring of the channel state information based on the reference signal reference signal of the channel state information based on an area condition and a time condition,
wherein the controlling the measuring of the channel state information based on the reference signal reference signal of the channel state information based on the area condition further comprises:
limiting measurement of the channel state information based on the reference signal reference signal of the channel state information to an area based on area information within the first message, the area information within the first message comprising a radio access network area, at least one qNB identity, at least one cell identity, and at least one tracking area,
wherein at least one memory and computer program code are further configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the apparatus, when operating the apparatus in the first radio resource control mode, to control the measuring of the channel state information based on the reference signal of the channel state information based on at least one measurement parameter, and
wherein the at least one memory and computer program code are further configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the apparatus to measure the at least one measurement parameter, wherein the measuring the at least one measurement parameter comprises measuring the at least one measurement parameter based on: Reference Signal Received Power, Reference Signal Received Quality, received beam information, and channel state information—reference signal.
